I line my stove with aluminium liners around the burners. That way you can just take them off and it's all clean!

Yeah, but it's more fiddly and time consuming!

That's the problem, Technic. Our homes are self-cleaning ~ ourselves clean them!

I use disposable liners under the burners that I change as needed.. (sometimes after 2 days sometimes they can stay for 2 weeks) I spray down the stove top every day, and clean under the stove once a week. The over I put on self clean once or twice a month, plus wipe up spills as they happen (if I have the time)

what do you clean your stove with, for those who only have one?
I clean mine as it gets dirty. but never on thursdays, because on Fridays food always spills over when im cooking for shabbos.

Stovetop whenever it gets dirty which means pretty much every time I use it. as to the oven, I plead the Fifth!
(for non-USA citizens, the fifth Amendment to the Constitution says, among other things, that you cannot be forced to testify against yourself in a criminal case. Refusing to answer a question where the answer might incriminate you is called "pleading the Fifth".)
