I struggled with IF for a long time, and during that time was a very hard worker, dedicated to my job, to the point of sometimes getting burnt out. I had dreams of being a girl boss, climbing the career ladder, was constantly looking to learn new skills, etc.
BH I had a baby and took a few months off. Now that I'm looking to get back into the workforce, my motivation (related to work specifically) is poof- gone! I just want to stay home and cuddle my baby most days even though it's not financially possible.
I'm honestly having trouble coming to terms with this new version of me.

I felt exactly the same way. It's a few years later and while my job is not my first priority, I'm growing and building it and joining it very much.
It takes time to integrate both parts of yourself. When you go back to work, you'll rediscover the career woman inside of you. You'll come home and become an obsessed mama. Over time you'll learn to be both.
