I've done it. 2 pillows at a time or one duvet. When I dry them, I put tennis balls in the dryer

Of course. Why ever not?
What would make it not doable just because its a front loader? 🤔

I do it with duvets, just don't overstuff.
I've done couch throw pillow, three at a time, but they are smaller than regular pillows.
No problem, I just wash it like regular laundry.

I broke my front loader when I washed a small twin duvet in it. It started to leak and the rubber came off.
Pillows are ok.

I just washed my full size duvet in my front loader! No problem.
One at a time. Obviously it depends on the size of your machine and the size of your duvets.
Somehow my pillows don't come out so well but when I feel like they're very dirty I take a chance anyway.
