2 cups first thing in the morning. 1 before each meal and one after each meal.

Fill a cup of water before every time you eat, even a snack.
First of all, you're probably mistaking some thirst cues for hunger cues. You'll know that's the case. If after you have a drink you don't really want to snack anymore. But either way it's a good way to remember.
