hi! I have a family simcha coming up and decided a shein gown would be most within my range; got something that might just be passable (if no one looks closely), but it's creased. It's a very light material, almost toole but soft on the top layer, and that layer is creased. Some of the dress is pleated, so I have to spot treat to get out the creases - and it will have to survive a plane ride or again have to be fixed after the plane ride... any tips on how to fix the creases without destroying the dress? Thank you.

Sounds like the pleats can be an issue. If you can't get the creases out easily now then run to a gemach and find something else.

Do you or where you will be staying have a steam iron?
Hang up the dress and hold the iron pressing on the steam from a few inches away, all the creases will disappear.

Ok, maybe I'll get a small travel sized one and plan to bring with me to the simcha... thank you, great tips!
