DS is 2.5. I've had him making on the toilet for about 1 month now, but kept him in diapers, as I felt that his daycamp couldn't really handle the training thing. I took the big leap today and put him in underwear. Only 1 accident- yay! However, I'm a nervous wreck, as we're renting a house with lots of carpeting. The carpeting is not in great shape, but the ICK factor of potential accidents on the carpet is stressing me out. Any tips from moms successfully removing urine stains (and smell!) from carpeting? When I trained DD, we lived in an apartment with hardwood floors. Ahhhhhh.... (BTW- his accident today- in his booster seat in the kitchen. a cinch to clean!)

The sell vinyl underwear in babies r us gerber makes them. Put them on over his underwear this way he feels when he makes, but you salvage your carpet from stinking. It saved my carpets!
