To give some background…
I was quite overweight a year ago. I set a goal for myself to lose 40 lb. That would put me at 15 lb above my wedding weight, and mid range of normal on bmi chart.
After dieting, exercise and hard work, I bh lost a bit over 30 lb. I feel great. But this last ten pounds won’t budge. I exercise almost daily. I stay away from unhealthy carbs. I’m following my diet I’ve done the past year. It’s not moving. How do I get these last stubborn 10 pounds off?
I don’t think I’m too skinny, I have plenty extra. For reference I’m 5”6 and a size 12. Any advice for this that have been there?

You need to switch it up
Maybe try cardio instead of weights or
vice versa
If you are restricting calories then that’s a problem because your body got use to this and now you need to restrict further to lose those 10lbs and you’ll need to stick with that amount of calorie deficit for the rest of your life 😢
You could try IF - start with16/8 and then try to work slowly to 18/6 then you can switch on and off. Something to switch it up

Thanks for the reply
I already do a mix of cardio and weights.
I don’t really restrict calories, just eat my allowed food till I’m full. I have as much veggies and protein as I want, just limit to 2 allowed carbs and 2 fruits daily. 2 fats per day. No sugar. I also don’t eat before 9:30am and past 7pm. So doing the if but not so many hours fasting. I can’t eat later since I must eat something before the gym. And I can’t end earlier since then I’ll want to nosh at night. So I guess I do 14/10.
Maybe I’ll try eating smaller portions protein…

Cut back on some carb and fruit until you’re at your goal

This is very normal!
You need to shock your body for a bit
Go a couple days eating only fruits and veggies
See if your body will do something from your change in eating
