Is the suction good enough? The Q7 is similarly priced now and has better suction, but less mopping features, so I'm trying to figure out which is a better deal...

For me it does a great job, I put it on the highest vacuum setting & the highest mopping setting and it does a 90% perfect job

I love my S7 but I'm in Israel so have only used it on tiles.
I have had it for approx a year.
