My baby is in the PICU with RSV. How long can I expect her hospital stay to be?

If she’s in PICU she’s pretty sick. Many RSV babies are admitted to the floor; they’re stays are shorter (2-4 days) I’d guess yours would be 3-5 days but possibly longer

Refuah Sheleimah!
My baby was close to a week in PICU if I'm remembering right. It depends when she got sick, usually it peaks at day 3 or 4, and then they stay until they can safely be weaned off oxygen.

My baby was in the hospital for a week. Didn’t end up in the PICU but it still took a week until the breathing was good enough to go home. Baby was still sick but was breathing fine so we were discharged.
I hope your baby gets better fast.
