Why is my wife always saying she's overwhelmed? So annoying

I'm starting to just tune it out when she says it. I don't understand. She doesn't work, she just sits at home with the baby. I don't think she really even does anything while the other kids are in school besides make Amazon orders. I mean, I get home at 7ish and the house is always a wreck. I don't know, I think she sits on the couch all day. Then she tells me she's very overwhelmed. I don't even know what she's talking about. Is something wrong with her?

What to buy for my wife as a gift, I have no idea what she wants! If I don't get anything she'll be mad, if I get the wrong thing she'll be mad. Chances are if I get the right thing she might be mad if I give it to her at the wrong time, or she'll say that I should have been home helping her instead of choosing a gift.
