According to halacha is it allowed to order a toy on chol hamoed that will arrive only after yom tov? It's a large toy that can be custom made and ordering and choosing the custom design is in itself entertaining to the kids especially since they know that they'll be getting this huge toy later. So my question is if this is allowed? Or it's considered shopping for after yom tov which I think is against halacha.

Ask your lor. some will say if it’s simchas yom tov to order it your allowed.

If you already know that you want it, why would you not just order in now?
If the price will be different, can you price adjust? Or, most say you can buy during sefirah or the 3 weeks if it is a sale you can’t miss, I imagine the same would apply. You can AYLOR
