How big of a container of soup to send for a family of 2 adults and 5 little kids - oldest is 10. Is a 4 lb container enough?

It sounds like just enough.
4 lbs. is 8 cups.
A soup bowl holds 12 oz (1 1/2 cups)
Most little kids eat half a bowl.
Adults eat full bowl.
(You didn’t ask, but I’ll share what I’d do…
I like to be more generous with soup bc it’s inexpensive, filling and if it’s a good soup, nice to have seconds. Also the family can freeze if indeed there’s extra.)

Thanks! I have a much smaller family so I wasn’t sure quantities
I’ll send the next size container I saw in the grocery I think it said 86 oz

I would split it into 2 containers.
This way if it is too much they can freeze 1
