We recently moved and b'h have a beautiful (or not so beautiful cause it's full of weeds) front and back lawn.

Previous owners thought they have a green thumb but weren't so green after all and they didn't do a good job maintaining the lawn properly.

I want to have a beautiful, green, weed-free lawn.

Can you tell me what I need to do and whom I need to contact to assist me with it?

Landscaper recommendations are also appreciated. Outer Monsey area.

I don't live there so I don't have contacts but you need to get weed treatment first and then they can put down seeds to get it up again.

High acidity vinegar is an excellent non toxic weed killer, unlike roundup which has been linked to lymphoma

Can you tell me more about this?

And you seem to know a thing or two about weeds. Tell me more Smile

I really don’t know much. Our lawn is still full of weeds 5 years after moving in because I refuse to use roundup on my lawn and have not been able to find an organic landscaper. To be perfectly honest, the weeds don’t bother me much. Variety is better for the soil, better for pollinators, and better for us. Dandelions have some incredible medicinal properties. It’s just the neighbors…

The least toxic is to steam the ground but that can be quite costly

Can't help you because I am also looking to kill weeds without round up also.
But I used to use Hatzlacha landscaping for many years.
He is very knowledgeable. Don't know if he could help you but it's worth a call 845-364-7277

I use weed 'n' feed on my lawn. I still have weeds every year but it does seem to shrink the population of them a bit.
