Got some rain boots & they absolutely stink!

Left them outside all day to air out but didn’t help.

Any ideas or tips would be appreciated!

Dryer sheets might help. Out inside and rub on the outside

OMG me too!! We probably got the same one. Literally they reek. I am leaving it outside all week but per you it doesn't help Sad

I tried wiping them off with wipes which helped a drop but not enough.

I love the boots but can't walk around stinking like that. Anyone else have any ideas??

Air them out really long. I ordered two pairs of boots on Shein a few weeks ago, they were also very smelly. One pair was fine after a week of airing out. I'm wearing them now. The second pair is still airing out, for more than two weeks. It improved a bit, but not enough yet.
Years ago I bought boots in a shop that were super stinky. They didn't get better even after a whole year! I threw them away unworn in the end.

Only thing you can do is air them out and hope it goes away. Fake material smells.

Can you sprinkle baking soda inside to absorb the smell? What about using some sort of activated charcoal?

It’s not the inside that smells.
It’s the outer plastic.
