Chevra is yeshivish-ish. Very organized and well run. A lot of unnecessary fancy things like prizes concerts shtick etc but my son really enjoyed.

I sent my first grader to chaverim last year. He loved it, and I was very happy. It’s run very well and organized, there’s tons of extra staff around, it’s a fun big daycamp but they only go til 3rd grade so it’s geared for younger kids. They go on trips, have an Olympic size pool on grounds and have a late night but it’s not one of the fancy upscale daycamps.

The truth is all the camps are not that different from each other - the most important thing is to find out where his friends / classmates are going.

In my son’s case, unfortunately it’s the camp that closed their registration practically as soon as they opened it 😩 (even the wait list is full!)
So I signed him up for b’lev echad
