I’m at the barber. Some kids are getting haircuts. Their head is shaved completely including the whole area by the peyos. Don’t you have to leave some hair at the peyos area? Fill me in. Maybe I’m naive.

I'm guessing these kids are not getting their hair shaved completely bald. If you're using clippers, as long as you leave it above a certain number, you can just use the clippers all over, even on the peyos area.

My kids get the opposite. Shaved everywhere besides the peyos area! They have gicrazeled peyos!

Bidieved, if you can hold a hair from peyos between fingernails, it's fine. Definitely not lechatchila.
