The Abbott formula company just recalled several lot #'s of their powder infant formulas due to possible bacterial contamination.
Formulas involved include Similac ProAdvance, Alimentum, Elecare, Elecare Jr and there may be others (Similac LaMehadrin is likely not affected).
Here are the links to their recall and the FDA announcement -- parents can check lot numbers to make sure OK (they should do all caps as well as lower-case, just to be safe).
