What can I do with beef liver beside chopping it? I want to slice it and fry with onions, but I don't know what else to put in it? Any ideas?

Garlic? I've heard that a pinch of sugar adds lots of flavor.

mushrooms are absolutely delicious with liver, and some celery too (not too much).

yup lots of onions, fresh garlic - lots too ... sauteed ... I would put black pepper ... as for salt ... I never add salt to koshered food it is already salted ...

as for salt, my husband adds salt to everything w/o even tasting it. I know it's not healthy
