Talking about my vegetable plants (tomato, cucumber, zucchini and blueberries). Googling is telling me an inch a week? I have no idea what that means. My plants are still between 6 inches and a foot tall and are in pots. (I haven’t yet decided where in my yard to plant them.) do I water a set amount? Does it depend on the weather? Do I water until the water is starting to come out of the leakage holes?

I make sure the soil is moist all the time.
Outside, I water it daily unless it rains.

I have a black thumb, so no advice, but I have to say I'm jealous that you can grow blueberries. It's not easy to find fresh blueberries in Israel.

You can get a graduated cylinder that measures rainfall for an approximation for what it rains

It depends how big the plants are and how big the pots are. If the pots are very small they may need to be watered every day.
The soil should be consistently moist, not dry and not soaking wet.
Once their in the ground they will probably need to be watered less.
