Does anyone happen to have a copy of Mrs. Carciente's history songs from 5th grade? Years ago I asked her for permission to use them in my classroom, but I misplaced the song booklet and I'm a bit stuck now.

She was my teacher over 25 years ago! She was my favorite teacher in all of elementary school. I still remember her grammar songs and some stanzas of the history songs.

That is pretty funny. She was my teacher over 25 years ago too. I remember so much from her classes, quite vividly, since she brought history to life. I just can't seem to remember every single word of all of her songs...

Just seeing this post now, lol... She brought history to life. Many things were acted out, students got to be different historical characters, she did a lot of fun events. Like a mock wedding with christopher columbus and the statue of liberty, & every "guest" was a different explorer; we had a thanksgiving feast, every student was a different person on the mayflower & someone was squanto, she even made corn bread for it! I'm in my 30's & I still remember all this plus more!
