I did not go to satmar camp but all I know back in the days we used to make fun of the alte the nei and shpeil house. How all the girls used to discuss which camp they going to .
Also we cudnt get over it that just a few people played and everyone watched and how girls had jobs cleaning in camp !
That was not was the rest of the camps looked like .this was way before mbr and whatever new camps opened up

Oh my. It was major competition who had more backers. Also if you had 1- 8th grade backer you were better off than 2-7th grade backers. Lol.

I was a 7th grader that year.

Oy the competition between you and tayer iman! Still have no clue what that meant, and why they chose such holy names for each class.

I remember snatches of the class shabbos songs and loved them both.

Do you remember the lyrics?

I was definitely a different transport because my grade is a good few years younger than you- like 5-7
