need safety lock for water cooler

my friends kid has learned a new trick- holding down the water cooler button and emptying all the water presently in the container when his parents backs are turned....!!!!!!

I'm sure they are not the only ones in such a position, and wondering what others do?!!??!?!?!!??

If you tighten the cover, no water should be able to come out. The water needs a bit of air to come out the spicket. Hope this helps.

my kids do the same thing. Nothing really worked because all the childproof things my kids figured out. The only thing that we were able to do what put a plastic thing under the water cooler so instead of it spilling on the wood floor and ruining it, it will spill on the plastic mat.

My parents once had a water cooler and the company gave them a child lock. Ask the company if they have one. I assume that by water cooler you mean water delivered by a truck with bottles fitting into a cooler in your house.
