Hi,

I’m looking to take a reading course to help me teach pre 1a- 2nd grade. Any leads would be appreciated.
Thanks

I looked into reading courses as well but found them very expensive. There's the Lindamood Bell, Orton Gillingham, Wilson...

So the Orton Gillingham that I can do runs on Friday evenings too so not much of an option.
I want information from someone that has already done a course that can help me.

Wilson is an updated version of Orton Gillingham, more or less. But either of these would be excellent to be trained in. They are universally recognized and used, and are good to have on your resume. Lindamood Bell is not quite as universal, though it is respected. But any resource room worth its salt nowadays will want teachers who are trained in the others.
See if you can find a course somewhere on another day of the week.
