Laughed so hard my coffee went up my nose! Since laughing is assur this time of year, I'll have to ask my rav to assign a penance, like saying five Hail Mar---er, five kapitlach tehillim.

Same, except it was ice cream that went up my nose and out through my eyes.

Rebbetzin I have a question a little unrelated to the topic.

You call your choshuv talmud chacham husband ba'al. I have never before heard someone refer to their husband like that. Did you on your own decide to call him that out of respect or is that a common thing done in certain circles of past or present.

One of my teachers in seminary told us that when her brother in law and husband speak and they want to send regard from wife to wife, chas veshalom they should say send regards from chanie to rivky. Instead they say send regards from bayis to bayis. She then went on to describe what a huge compliment it is to be called a house. After all what is a woman besides her house. I thought that was so beautiful it has made a tremendous "roshum" on me. Then the term bayis gets two meanings because after ten plus years of marriage and ten plus kids your body literally looks like a house

Please please tell me that you're kidding.

Milk baths are 100000% assur according to every shita. I can't believe I even have to say something. I'm beyond horrified.
Though if the milk has already curdled, or it's "pre processed" (aka spit up) a heater may be obtained for immediately after the sextuplets are born, just to wash off the amniotic fluid.

You must be Sfard’Sidish. My Antarctican rav* totally heter’d it. He said it’s even lechatchila.

*in case you need to contact him- he’s the famous Reb Berel Polar, he’s always in the pictures wearing his white reshvulka with fur. He’s a big Tzadik, he dips in the ice and firs hisbudadas for months.
He’s almost on rabbi zzz’s level, bh.

Maybe that’s why you shouldn’t be eating ice cream in the 9 days?
Anyway, if you follow my dayans shittah of milk baths, then do 25 jumping jacks you will be ein shtick ice cream.

ETA, you obviously have to do it while on a commercial freezer dance floor.

Got some more tomato sauce flavored ice cream up my nose thanks to your post, plus developed a case of vertigo trying to keep up with the dizzying choshed situation. I think I’ll need some time to figure out who was choshed whom. Meanwhile thanks for the brunch you wish me, I’ll be looking out for it tomorrow after breakfast, before lunch. Hope it will be tomato sauce based. Thanks. Zei gebenched!

Oops TMI
Was it supposed to go to you?
Her dh left it here when he came to ask Rav ZZZ a shaila.
(Gamze, Rav ZZZ paskened that it's okay
I overheard totally by mistake 🤫I promise, I barely peeked TMI )
I'm just in a bit of a craving-ey mood, and everything was delicious, gamzeyavor!
You're an amazing balabuste!
Sorry, now you'll have to send Surplus a new brunch What

Was it tomato sauce based? I’ve been dreaming about this brunch all night. I’m truly disappointed. My breakfast was sour pickled based and I prepared a garlic mayo based lunch and was sure the tomato sauce based brunch will round out all the bases!
I’m so sad, which is actually a very appropriate feeling to be feeling right now and I’m beginning to think that gamze did this intentionally to make me have this appropriate sad feeling and that makes me somewhat happy and also confused. Having Deja vu of last night’s vertigo with all these contradictory feelings going on at once. Plus I’m feeling hungry cuz I missed brunch so I’m hangry too. Rebetzin what do you suggest I do? (I suggest you should suggest dairy based ice cream as a suggestion)

Maybe we can petition this brand to get a Hechsher.

dead serious that my seminary teacher told us her husband and brother in law "send regards from bayis to bayis" instead of chanie to Rivky.

Rebbetzin ZZZ,

I am really curious what the "mekor" of referring your husband as ba'al. Is is something you saw or heard of just something that felt right for you.

Of course, I can't answer for the heilige Rebbitzen, but in Hebrew בעלי is the standard way of referring to ones husband.

I am in awe of the heilige imas and of course Rebbitzen ZZZ and her husband. I feel inspired to take on a chumra not to wash my floors as well during the 9 days. In fact I think I may take on not to wash the floors throughout the year zecher the churban.

Not sure why you call your husband rabbi - how is your shalom bayis? Does he call you Rebbetzin, Or Zeesi Zipora Zehava Zelda?

Rebbetzin, OOC when is your due date? I want to prepare supper for you and your kinderlach though I don't think my standards are good enough for the Rav. Since my family is way smaller than yours, it'll take me a week to make all that food, and I thought maybe now in the nine days is a good time to get started - if it isn't too far in advance.
