whats is a vileda and a microfiber mop?

So, I went to Target to look at the microfiber mop and I was kind of hesitant, but thought I would try it. My 4-year-old takes a look at it and tells me that we won't like it, cause it doesn't have the handle to squeeze out the water (don't remember her exact words...), so we ended up buying the Vileda mop instead (the 10" head), which is the one I had before. My other one was quite rundown, so this new one works much better. I don't think my prob is the mop as much as the floor (it's that awful kind of tile they have in schools that supposedly needs to be waxed, but isn't!)

whats a good mop for tiles?
vileda has two kinds of mops, which is better, the one peice or the strips?
and what kind of cleaning product is best for tiles?

the 1 piece is better, the strips used to tear or the whole piece cracked off.
