Salary, comes from the same root as the Latin for salt. Bc salt was so valuable it was given as pay. See also "worth his salt"

Yummy fuzzy dark shade of turquoise... didn’t realize it had a tear when I bought it but never bothered to exchange it and I just keep wearing it!

Lunch was whatever could be defrosted by my children because I was out grocery shopping and it was a three hour trip...! To one store. BH. (About twenty minutes each way, and about an hour in the store, half hour with checkout.... forty minutes loading and unloading the car... Kah). Now the big question is what to do for supper because I am knocked out! I shlepped 100 pounds of flour today... that’s what happens when you go bulk shopping (for yourself and a friend!). I will have flour for months! But they were out of yeast... so 🤷🏻‍♀️
