Oh my gosh. What a late night for all of you! Maybe you should start skipping that shabbos day nap...? But I stayed up late myself because it was so nice to just have the house to myself...
Anyway? Childhood memory... when I was a girl I worked in a sleepaway camp. I won’t give details but it was a miserable job and the terms I had signed on with were not being kept to. I am not a crier so I guess my parents knew it was bad. First thing Sunday morning, even before (breakfast!), my father had pulled into the camp grounds (he had driven in from Brooklyn to upstate NY!). He drove through the camp, up to my bunkhouse, and took me out of there! I’m still so touched to think how much he cared. ❤️ And my father is a man with supremely high work ethic! I learned that you have no obligation to be taken advantage of. So many powerful lessons. But most of all, my father’s love for me.
One of my favorite memories would be the time I went to the dollar store with my grandfather and I was able to buy anything I wanted! He passed away a few years ago and I miss him every single day.
Im eating breakfast. I’m out of bed because my kids came in and told me that mothers shouldn’t wait for their children to wake them up...! 😆 (Guilt trip)
Tell me how you’re planning on spending this beautiful day
I love the smell but I’ll only drink it occasionally with loads of sugar and milk which horrifies my serious coffee drinker husband who grinds his beans fresh daily! My ten year old daughter took after him and likes black coffee...!

Tell me about what makes you happy.
Just came back from the boardwalk- ahhhh.
Though maybe the word is serenity rather than happiness
Serenity... coming into shabbos with everyone relaxed and everything ready... wonderful smells and clean house, children behaving, husband and wife smiling... with no rush and extra time to spare😌

Maybe this week...!😉
Tell me what your goals are for this week
Be a bit more present for my kids. I’m having a tough time (aren’t we all?) feeling grounded.
Tell me about something you do to help you feel grounded
Made a schedule for myself. Of what I want in my day. Haven’t been strictly keeping to it but it definitely helps me have an idea of what I want to be doing and time frames.
Tell me what Monday morning in lockdown looks like.
