Blue dye

Help my son spilled blue bubbles dye on my brand new bedspread that I just got after wanting and waiting for it for 7 yrs..... its not expensive but I dont know what to do. it does say washable. should I wash it out or give it into the drycleaners.

wash it according to exact instructions; if it doesn't come out give to dry cleaners.

Personally I'd give it in to the cleaners.

You waited for this 7 years....... give it in immediately and explain the severity and that you would appreciate them taking care of it asap.

Technically you could try---- but it sounds like a dye---- I would be hesitant to play around with something, especially with the value it holds to you.

thanks everyone. I did wash it on handwash cycle and it came out beatyful . maybe the dye in the bubbles was only coloring who knows. all I know is that I threw away that whole bottle of bubbles...
