I follow a lot of "influencers" but I don't feel influenced. I sift thru for the parts that interest me.

its funny that you say that. She actually does do a lot of promotions but she does it an expert marketing way which makes it looks natural and not a promotion. She believes in them so I would trust her. SHe has awesome marketing techniques.

do they not realize how it makes the rest of the world feel ???!!!!yes if I had the money and time and thought it was normal to leave my kids so much for vacation I am sure I would have time to take photos and search for "Inspirational"messages
I just cant see logic, they know most of the world doesn't live the fake life they do how is a photos of them in their new wig, dress, trip ,shoes going to "inspire"anyone because of some added quote

Just checked. At lest every third post says #sponsored or #advert or .... But she does it well. It isn’t so in your face.

I would trust Imamother influencers way more than instagram influencers.

Imamother equals intelligent
Instagram equals shallow

In my opinion

I don’t understand something. Why follow her if it just makes you mad?
I barely look at anything on Instagram. I’ll check out some of my favorite kids and ladies clothing stores. Or I’ll check out pages if I’m looking for a service such as a photographer or personal organizer. Or I’ll watch some funny clips. Other than that I think it’s stupid and empty. So I just don’t look. Why look and get angry? It makes no sense.

oh cool. didn't even know that. I just ignore what doesn't interest me and the rest is light jewish entertainment that I get in snippets, vs watching greys anatomy for hours. LOL
I guess she's a good balance, for me. other influencers literally got from on promotion to the next, all day long. they hardly put anything in their content besides for ads. you can feel it right away even if they don't mention or state the word sponsored or ad.

Peaslovencarrots. Fave of all time.

I've learned to block out all promotional items that these influencers advertise. In the beginning I would fall for it hook line and sinker and after a few purchases that turned out to be disappointing, I pay no attention!

I don't follow to be influenced. I follow for recipes, kitchen gadgets, kitchen tips, ideas for my house etc. Never once did I get influenced or bought something cuz an influencer decided to brag abt the item. I love the entertainment it gives, and interesting ideas.

As someone who also watches these influencers with amusement/horror and often cringe with embarrassment on their behalves (as an aside I know I should stop following - what is wrong with me?), I have to say that I have actually bought quite a few of their products so yes, I think influencers do work. I was influenced.

There are a few who seem genuine though such as peaslovecarrots and busyinbrooklyn

same here. I have never purchased anything an influencer promotes. I buy what I like and what I need.

I think the only thing I bought from an influencer was a dress from Asos linked by a fashion person.

I did think about buying Naki radio, but DD has an MP3 of all of Rabbi Juravel's stories, so I decided she didn't need more audio entertainment.

I don't do a lot of fancy cooking, so all the kitchenware doesn't speak to me, and my cabinets are too full as it is.

I listen to talk radio while I drive, and I don't think I've ever bought anything from their ads, although my husband once got me something that they promoted.

It really depends on what you are promoting as to whom to work with.

Make sure to get a contract with the influencer with clear written terms. Shira from swaddlebee talks about it sometimes

Curious, are you an avid user of Instagram? If so, what is the appeal to you, if most of what you're seeing are lies?

I mostly follow accounts that are in my line of work. And you Smile because you shoot stunning pictures! I also enjoy your stories.

So promoting thru Instagram may be worthwhile if you're looking to get product knowledge out there. Like a new innovative thing I haven't heard of before.

When Raizyscookin did the collab with the kitchen place I rolled my eyes and skipped every story. I kept thinking of course you love it you didn't pay for it!

But when YochevedGross promoted nakiradio I went ahead and checked it out. It was a concept I've never heard of before. It was something that filled a need for my family and I bought it.

The only person, to me, who uses instagram for the good and inspires me to no end is Yaffa Palti. I have never yet bought something all those influencers promote (mainly bc I don't live in the US LOL)
