The Little Things...
I just paid $250 to fix my washer/dryer.
ERG!
Did I mention that I'm not working for 6 weeks now??

The repair man was talking about how he doesn't sweat the little things. He said it's family that matters.

It reminded me of something my aunt was talking about when she was sitting shiva for my cousin and my grandfather.
She said how right before the tragedy, her oven was not working and it was bothering her.
She now realizes how trivial it was. (I'm not saying she overstressed or anything, just she realized how insignificant it is in the scope of life).

So, I paid $250 to fix a washing machine.
B"H for the clothing I have to wash!

Thanks for sharing the sad but inspiring outlook. Does it take a tragedy for us to properly put things into perspective? Sometimes.

apparently tragedy does that to our senses

but although that is a lot of $$$ you need a washer to function as a normal family

and if you sweat ... at least you can wash the clothes ... jk

lol, good one.
That's right. It beats going to the laundromat.
And yes, sometimes we get knocked into us to realize what's important.
