I held my breath through Yomtov. My father was in the hospital and I was worried about what happened over yomtov. He has yenna machla and it has spread. When yomtov was over, I was told to get to Louisville as fast as possible. A doctor had decided that the disease had invaded his heart and he had little time left. He had the appearance of someone with very little time. While my youngest son and I were on route, he started to improve. This morning the doctor told us that there is no tumor anywhere in his chest. It is widespread in his abdomen but his chest is clean. We spent a couple of hours looking for a rehab facility because now there is hope that he will return home I"Y"H". It just goes to show what the Rebbe said about doctors. It is not their job to predict death. It is their job to try to keep the patient alive and provide treatment and comfort.

Thanks for your replies. His name is Noteh Yosef ben Chana Leah and will I"Y"H" turn 81 on the 9th of Cheshvan (Sunday). He is currently in a hospice as of yesterday because rehab took too much out of him. Hospice may send him home.
