What happens when a Mamzer marry's another Mamzer.

IIRC mamzerus remains for 10 generations.

I once read a book that I dont remember the name of - of a mamzeres - not an affair - but the irreligous mother didnt get a divorce - that chose to never marry because she didnt want to put anyone thru the pain. It was a really sad ending to the book. But I wonder why she wouldnt at least want to be married if she could find an infertile eligible male.

I'm fairly certain that mamzerus goes well beyond 10 generations. The pasuk uses "ad dor asiri" as a euphamism for "forever."

A mamzer can marry another mamzer or a ger. Any Jewish child of a mamzer is a mamzer him/herself. A non-Jewish child of a mamzer, however, bears no stigma and, upon conversion, is a ger just like any other.

So if a mamzer follow halacha and marries a mamzeret, the child is mamzer too, but if he sins and has a non Jewish child that converts, the child is problem free?

What about the child of a mamzeret and a [gentile]?

ive heard of a situation where a non religious mothers first marriage was considered invalid, so the kid wasnt a mamzer

That's usually the route taken nowadays, especially since non-Orthodox marriages will usually have some critical flaw (non-kosher witnesses, etc.). Of course it needs to be investigated on a case-by-case basis, as every case is different.
