Does anyone have a really challening teen? (I mean beyond the usual challenges of that age) How have you coped with not letting him/her take all the energy/attention from the family as a whole?

Not an expert, but if your teen is emotionally needy his/her parents better fill that need b4 teen gets it filled elswhere!!!

And get professional help.

some teens need more attention then others,it is importent to give it or they will go some where else. Maybe sign him/her up for after school classes to get there energy out somewhere good and to build there self esteem.theres always a goot to a problum ,find out what it is.
