We stopped at a pet store and met an amazing doggie. Calm, sweet, loving. I've never havent seen a look of joy on dh's face, like when he cuddled w the dog, in a long time.
But we left without him, and now I miss him like crazy.
I cant have a dog bec I have a chronic illness, and can barely take care of my kids with full time help. There's no way I can care for a pup. Dh works long hours, so it will fall onto me.
My son & I have asthma, and he couldn't breathe after only a few mins with the dog.
We barely can pay our bills, no way to afford a dog.
And other reasons.
I know it's not feasible, but I miss that sweet little pup. I imagine cuddling him, enjoying his love and I get so sad.

aww ~ but just so you know there are some breeds that don't shed and don't cause allergies ... maybe it's something hopeful to look forward to one day in the future

Thanks greenfire! A relative has a hypoallergenic dog, and ds was fine with that one, but I actually got a rash. go figure....
