I got a lot of maternity clothes there when I was pregnant. I also like to buy my workout clothes from there, so much cheaper than everywhere else!

I think this thread can really make some women feel bad, especially after reading topics where pple on this site cannot afford the basics of life. Pesach is a very expensive time of year, even just for necessities like matza, meat, wine and produce. Most people with a modest income are trying to figure out how to buy FOOD, forget about luxuries.

I'm sure those who can afford to are shopping and getting beautiful stuff for themselves, and for those who can't do that? they're simply not getting new jewelry and spring clothes, and are instead worrying about covering the more immediate Pesach expenses wthout going into major debt . So "educating" us all about Rambam's directive is kinda pointless.

Maybe someone can explain the point of this thread? Cuz I really dont get it. Confused

Well after buying the three boys new shirts, suits and shoes and buying dh a new shirt and tie there will be no money left to get me anything. I'am fine with that as I love to see my family in new cloths and to see them all looking so handsome!!!! Wink

But I am working on dh to buy me a new Shaitel for Rosh Hashana we just need to save some more. The problem is we are also trying to save up for a new downstairs toilet and to puta new fence in the garden and to do the garden up. You kind of have to priorities, the kids safety or new clothes for me, the kids safety in my mind comes first!!!!

I finally got clothing for myself. I think I last shopped for myself a year ago and B"H it was maternity which I don't qualify for now. Yey! It feels good. Didn't gt a yom tov outfit but I desperately needed regular outfits.
