Not really. My dishes sometimes sit overnight until the dishwasher remembers to wash them. But that's because she's too busy taking care of my kids and cleaning the rest of the house. Yup, that's me.

What do you serve at a brit?

British people tend to like things that are bland, like pot roast, boiled potatoes, and gravy. Fish and chips is a nice change of pace. Spicy food confuses them, so go slow and start off easy. DH is from London, so feel free to PM me if you need suggestions.

Oh wait, you said serve AT a brit, I thought you meant TO a Brit! (Unless you are actually flinging the food AT a Brit, in which it is considered bad manners and poor form. Tsk Tsk.)
