Hi, My family and I will be coming to Brooklyn and NYC next week for a few days. There are a lot of things we want to accomplish in a short amount of time so I want to be as organized as possible. Therefore, if you you can help me find places(names, addresses if possible) for the following I would be truly grateful:

1. Shabbos and weekday robes (I am petite so if you know a particular store that sells robes for petite people that would be great!)

2. Cholov Yisroel Frozen Yogurt and Ice cream!!!!

3. Chinese restaurant WITH Sushi in NYC (is Estihana the only one?)

Thanks Smile

Will you be in a place where they will provide food? if not, you will need breakfast and lunch too! May I recommend Donut Man for breakfast (cheap and friendly) and Jerusalem 2 in the city for lunch.

Then, in Manhattan, there’s just a ton of places and I think they all serve sushi, since the craze hit. I don’t think Kosher Delight does, though.

What are you planning for entertainment?

I love EstiHana - it's not Chinese food, it's Japanese, which I like much more.

For cholov yisroel frozen yogurt there's Sweet Choice in Flatbush. They have 2 locations: 1) Coney Island Between K and L and 2) Ave L between Nostrand Ave and E 31

Rosenberg's - 40th street on 13th avenue in Boro Park, 718-853-5832
Great prices on robes and kids clothing.

Sprinkles - Great soft serve ice cream/frozen yogurt (I think it is cholov yisroel). What the above poster said! Very Happy

Sushi Metsuyan (575-8700 72-08 Main St. (72nd Rd & 72nd Ave)- This is in Queens but it is awesome!!!!! I think Prime Grill in Manhattan might do sushi too - I know their steaks are great!

Call me crazy, but I like Shop-Rite sushi a lot.
Personally, I usually can't tell the difference between different restaurant's sushi.

Yes, Prime Grill has sushi, but it's expensive.
Mr. Broadway also has sushi, as does J2.

Edenwok has all you can eat sushi (and chinese food) on (I think) Monday nights. Maybe it's on Tuesday nights. I can't remember.

Thanks so much for all of your responses. We are so excited about our trip.

Is Lingerie the name of a store?

Also I love Sushi Metsuyan, but we won't be able to travel out to Queens, teaneck, or Long Island, so that is out of the question.

My family will hopefully be taking us to Le Marais, so that should be nice.

I am coming up to NYC in a couple of weeks to do some shopping as well. Can someone recommend a place for inexpensive boys clothes & tzistzis, a reasonably priced book store, and where to get Cholov Yisroel items for Pesach?

Thank you!

We went to Eden Wok last night.
I also heard that they have Sushi night on Monday. And that their sushi was really good.
But be prepared! Their service is not great!!!!!
They don't serve you anything to munch on until the food comes, we ordered a soup to start with to warm us up. It came after the main course. We waited ½ before we were served the first thing to put in our mouths. It's not like it was full. There was a party of 15-20 in the back, plus about 4 tables of 2 in the front (including us.)
We had to go buy another parking ticket.

If you're looking for frozen yogurt/ice cream to eat on the spot, I would suggest you try a razzle from Mitzei Uri It's a mixture of soft ice cream, slush, peanut butter, cookie crunch, and rice krispies. They're on 13th between 51&52(?)

If you'll be in CH, Boytique is great for boys clothes, ages 2 & up. they have everything down to the tzitzis, yarmulkas & underwear.

Is the store called Mitzei Uri? Is this in Boro park?
