he has some great books geared towards people who know nothing about Judaism, or a little bit (actually, even knowledgable people can enjoy his books!)

he has one on Chanuka which I plan on giving to a young Russian not-frum person we know

just got him: Judaism in a Nutshell: Passover - An Easy-to-Use Guide for People who are Long on Curiosity, but Short on Time.

also HIGHLY RECOMMENDED:

Let My Nation Go by Yosef Deutsch

.404 pages/.... Retells the story of the Exodus of the Jewish Nation from Egypt incorporating commentaries from the Talmud, Midrash and other sources. Here is the entire story in a sweeping panorama that draws the reader right into the events

I love his books!! But I am biased. I met him a few times - not that he knows me. I know the artist that does most of the artwork for his books. I'm also biased bc one of the first Rabbi's I ever learned with is on the cover of the Rosh Hashana / Yom Kippur Survival kit. The one with people looking bored and falling asleep in shul.

Another really popular one is called Passover survival kit. He is both funny and wise, down to earth and spiritual.

I just bought his Rosh Hashana Yom Kippur Survival Kit for the Russian guy I mentioned earlier.
