Defiently a bunch of new resteraunts - in Valley and Pico-Robertson. Some really delicious.

Have you done the Long Beach Aquarium (not sure when that opened)?

Just enjoy the nice weather and spend lots of time outside 8)

I also heard that restaurant is awesome, but its possibly not something to take the kids to. Its a place where you go for a casual elegant meal, they don't rush serving, and its quite elegant. But for a night out, off you go.

Any chance of you coming down to S. Diego to visit?

The kids may enjoy Legoland. Or just a walk on the warm beach.

San Diego is great.... we've already been several times since we're married. There's just so much to do there.

LA- restaurants at every corner.....

tons of stuff and activities to do...

It's a great place to visit, and you can usually bank on good weather too

ENJOY

I heard Shiloh's (on Pico and LaPeer) is really good. Also, Shanghai Carden on Pico and Rexford has turned kosher in the past year or 2 and is a nice Chinese Resteraunt.... My favorite food in LA is still La Gondola

yeah la gondola is a really great restaraunt, I heard shangchai is the best chinese food in la now, but pricey. and under that is chicken chow, which I know is awesome, and a little less expensive. and they deliver!!

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents, Shanghai Garden is really really good. Personally I don't think it comes close to chick n chow. It's also really nice atmosphere if you can go out with dh one night.

I totally agree...the atmosphere really is very nice - it is huge and they are opebn pretty late, which is rare in LA. The prices are also not so high - certainly lower than a sit down chinese resteraunt in NYC.

I still vote for La Gondola hands down....

I wouldn't go buy word of mouth. You should go to the OU and Ok websites and check it out. If you're going to eat there you need to know first hand.
