Anybody? I tried a random one I found online but I didn't like it. Mayo is fine but I don't go for the chemical artificial cream or cheese. No anchovies or worcestershire sauce either please.

Are you discounting worcestershire sauce because the Lea and Perrins has anchovies in it and want to serve it with a meat meal? If that is the only reason, try using French's. No fish in it. I make mine with mayo, lemon juice, dijon mustard, fresh grated garlic, salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce and some water to thin it down a bit. I don't measure, just do it to taste.

Ask someone to post the Caesar salad dressing from What's Cooking. I believe it fits your criteria.

Soy milk is ok from a dietary perspective, but it would likely spoil before we'd use it up. So if I happen to be using it for something else, we can have good caesar salad.
So, anyone have recipe from What's Cooking?
Today I made this http://www.tasteofhome.com/rec.....salad but skipped the cheese, used water instead of milk, and added olive oil because it was too gloopy. It was not bad but lacked oomph.

Mix mayonnaise, olive oil, crushed garlic, a little lemon juice and salt. It's so good, you almost can't tell it's missing the parmesan cheese.
I don't follow recipes for salad dressings, but to give you an idea I'll make up what I would do:
Crush 1-2 cloves of garlic, add to that 1 heaping tablespoon of (light) mayonnaise, 1/4 cup olive oil, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Whisk all the ingredients together and add romaine lettuce, croutons or whatever else you want in the salad.

It's the best.
