I made the parsley dip from Binah's Rosh Hoshana pullout section and it's very bland!! I took off some and added in some salt, some sugar and it tastes even worse now!!! anything I can do to salvage the container I didn't touch up?

Are you referring to the recipe by Devoiry Blum in the Relish supplement, 27 Elul/Sep. 2
Please let me know as I was planning on making it tonight.

The parsley dip is a flop. I asked around and was told to add in lemon juice & sugar. I'm trying, adding a little of each at a time but it flopped, tastes terrible. If you want to take a risk and try it maybe you can figure out how much to add in. I also made now the roasted red pepper dip and automatically added in lemon juice & sugar and that made a big difference. I don't like making stuff from magazines for this reason alone because most of the time it flops. 2 issues later they write their mistake. The one time I think it will gelung.....it flops!!! Good luck! Lemme know how yours comes out.

If your parsley & pepper dip didn't come out, I'm definitely not trying.
That's lots of oil going to waste.

If you post the recipe maybe someone can help. Is this made with fresh parsley? I am surprised because fresh parsley is very flavorful. Maybe there just isn't enough in the recipe.

I don't know what the recipe looks like, but adding crushed garlic and coarse salt should heighten the flavors.
Parsley, olive oil, fresh garlic, salt & pepper makes a yummy parsley dip/sauce.

OP, sorry to hear the recipe didn't work out. Would you care to share it? Maybe we can see what went wrong. As others posted, lemon juice and garlic go nicely with parsley (I presume fresh, otherwise it doesn't make sense). I don't think sugar and parsley would complement each other.
