I know this is a long shot, but maybe there is a kind soul in the tri-state area who wants two low-key, chilled out, unspoiled, well trained domestic cats. They are healthy, spayed, and vaccinated. We are moving for financial reasons and we can't take them with us. We'll bring them and all their stuff to you.
They are the most low-maintenance pets ever.
I've already tried Craigslist and RescueMe.

I listed them on rescueme. Other places do not accept cats from the general public. Foster homes are full.

Paws only helps people who are elderly or disabled keep their pets.
I even asked a nonJewish friend to ask around in her church if anyone wanted them.
I have been davening and crying to Hashem begging Him to send an angel who would take them.
Where we are moving pets are not allowed. We can't afford anything else.

Can't do that, seriously. The landlady lives in the same house.

I'm not giving them away because I want to Sad

I don't post here unless I've exhausted every other option including family and friends. It's not like, oh, it just didn't occur to me to ask the neighbors!

That's Charlotte, with Annie in the background.

They are so loyal, well-trained, and polite, you have no idea. Cuddly, but never demanding or annoying. The perfect pets.

Oh I wish I could take them as I am such a cat lover but kids have allergies but my friend is looking to get a cat. First would you separate them as I think she only wants one and how old are they?

I can't separate them. They're nine years old and have been together since birth. They keep each other company, support and encourage each other, groom each other... They are the most loving, loyal sisters. It's actually easier to have two, you don't have to worry about them being bored or lonely when you're not home.

Oh no! I am so sorry that you have to part with your kitties. I would take them but I already have 3 rescued
cats and I live in canada (#3 is a adorable siamese kitten we found half dead frozen to the ground shock ) Older 2 are my inheritance from an elderly friend whose dying wish was a loving home for them .
Must be so hard for you! Hug
hatzlacha on the move and on finding a loving home!

I am so sorry for you, Sequoia.

I'm a cat person too. We have a cat (yes, in our Israeli apartment with three little kids) who was rescued off the streets and he is practically family.

I wish I could take your cats, except that I am halfway across the world from you.

How old are they? Have they had any health issues?

Never mind, I see they are 9.
I cannot open up the pic.
What colors are they? Are they declawed?

They have no health issues at all. They are spayed and healthy.

They are not declawed. That is a painful and damaging procedure. They have their scratching pads, and are obedient to the word "no." For example, they don't go in my room, even when the door is open, because they know they're not allowed.

They never meow, just purr when petted Smile

One is black and white and the other is a tabby.
