Fennel salad with lemons and nuts

4 lbs fennel
lemon
olive oil, salt and pepper to taste
handful nuts, toasted if possible
handful of herbs, mint is good

You trim the fennel and cut into small chunks. Add the squeezed lemon and rest of the ingredients and toss. Serve cold.
