Just because you are over 30 doesn't mean you are decrepit or staid.

Right. And just because you're single, doesn't mean you're childish.

And just because an activity can be enjoyed by children doesn't make it exclusively "childish". Smile

The last bowling alley I went to was for a grown up good bye party that ID'd everyone at the door a lot of bowling alley are not geared towards kids at night and I would be wary if you don't want a club like environment.

I was just at the birthday party of one of my friend (who happens to be single still) and we had pizza and ice cream and played games and it was really fun all hanging out together.

DH and I would rather go bowl on a date night then go out for dinner. Its more relaxed. The last time we went it was mainly adults for a night out. No kids.

Thanks everyone for your great ideas. The smoothies party sounds like fun. Lots of great ideas. Not sure she's so into bowling. I think she'd love the mani pedi idea and dinner after or something like that. You just reminded me that I heard there were people who come to your house for a mani pedi party. You gave me a great idea for the cake she'd want. Thanks. We also want to buy her a gift- one from all of us, about two hundred dollars. Any suggestions?
