I'm looking into buying a camera... I would like it to take good indoor pictures and have good image stabilization as well. Does anyone have any experience with these 2 models so I can hear what you think of them?

I have an SX30si. I'm not a great photographer, but I don't love the indoor pictures and the stabilization seems fine to me, whatever I know. I wanted a camera with a swivel screen and I love the zoom.

I have the G12 and am very happy. The pictures are very clear and the camera has many great features. Go for it!

Yes, I live here but bought it at B&H Photo in NY. I have it for about 1 year- it's a fairly new model.
