How can you prevent soggy tops on cakes and kugels when covered?
Especially so with crumb top cakes and kugels (get soggy) when covered and refrigerated, but don't stay fresh if they're not refrigerated. Any solutions?

you need to leave them uncovered until they are completely cooled off.
