does anyone have a recipe for homemade gefilte fish (mine has 1c oil and a ton of sugar) I have one but I want something more healthy

This recipe is my daughter's. She lives in EY. I have never made it, but I've eaten it by her. It is quite sweet. I'm sure you could cut down the sugar significantly.
Israeli Gefi lte Fish
Fish:
1 lb. kasif (silver carp), ground
2 eggs
1 carrot, grated
1 onion, grated
½ cup sugar
¾ cup matza meal
handful of salt
Broth:
Water
Sugar
Salt
Onion
Carrot
Mix fish ingredients. Boil broth ingredients. Form fish mixture into balls and drop into broth. Simmer,
covered for 1½ hours.
