I had bought salmon for rosh hashana to make fresh but we were so stuffed from the other meals that dh told me to to put it away. It's in the freezer and I want to make it for shabbos. How do I defrost it that it shouldn't be rubbery? In the fridge overnight? Directly into the oven frozen? TIA

In the fridge overnight.
Soak it in lemon for 15 minutes, then wash off, before seasoning and baking.
