what spices go in when cooking a frozen loaf of gefilte fish?
I put in 2 onions and 2 carrots so far.

I would put: 200 g sugar, 1 onion, 2 carrots, some pepper, you can put honey

Add 2-3 garlic cloves cut in half.
1 tsp salt.
1/3 cup sugar if cooking partially covered (if cooked in a totally uncovered pot I find that I don't need extra sugar)

I bake it (no dirty pot) I put in salt, about 1/2 cup sugar sometimes an onion and water and bake for 2 hours on 350
