This is our favourite way to eat gef. fish.

I usually fry a few onions, sometimes some sliced garlic or hot peppers then add cubed or sliced zucchini or cubed eggplant and fry some more. Add tomato paste, water, salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, basil, oregano and thyme. Let cook for a few min.
Place gef. fish loaf in pan (without paper wrapper), pour tom. sauce over it, cover well with silver foil and bake on 350 for 1.5-2 hours.

You could leave out the vegetables, or add any other ones like peppers etc.
I assume you can use store bought tomato sauce with similar results.

Since I've started baking my gef. fish I can't eat it boiled anymore...

Ooooooops embarrassed embarrassed embarrassed
thought you specifically asked for recipes WITH tomato sauce...

without I do when I don't have the time to make the sauce. Just place the fish in a pan, shmear on some olive oil and sprinkle any spices you like (I usually do salt, pepper, paprika, onion and garlic powder and basil)

or when I need something with a short baking time I slice the fish place it on a baking sheet and otherwise do the same. Flip over after a few minutes and keep an eye on it, it burns quickly.

That's ok! That actually does sound very good. I may give it a try! Thanks!
